Beep!Beep!
"How about them Celtics"? I take that back, that was Jimmy Johnson talking about his then Dallas Cowboys. The Celtic-Knicks game a little one sided to say the least. What is next for the men of New York? The best bet might be for the NBA to step in[like the Cavs in the early 80's] freeze everything, player deals, salaries and hire a consultant team to take over for the season. The consultant team would have the right to hire and fire[no long term contracts added] maybe the whole staff and aplayer or two or 3 or 4! It can't get worse.
Philly is awful and another team that needs to be looked at by the league. They are another team that seems to be going down as a franchise. The arena had alot of seats empty that the club seemed to think[by attendence announced] that had people in them. I got a kick out of Cheeks talking about how the Jazz like to get lay-ups. Is that a new truth? It just makes sense, don't all teams want to score the best % shots available? On second thought, maybe not. Jerry wasn't too happy with what he saw out there. Its important to remember this, the top coaches are good at knowing what it takes to win in this league and aren't fooled by what they see against the bad teams.
The Lakers are going to be a different team then Philly or New York. Brewer will proabably draw Kobe with Andre on Bynum. These are the two key matchups. LA has noboday who can handle Brewer. Watch Williams and the former Jazzman, Fisher.

****Quick addition to todays blog re: Brewer and Byrant plus Boozer. After writing about Brewer/Byrant and Andre/Odom matchups which is probably how the Jazz will start, I meant to say the Lakers have nobody who can handle Boozer and not Brewer as I mentioned. I hope its true that they can't handle Brewer either!
As I mentioned, LA is an altogether different team than Philly and NY. They have a style of play, good coaching, solid supporting cast to Byrant plus Odom is back. It’s easy to see why they would not trade Bynum this summer to get someone who on paper looked to be a plus.
