Happy 66th Birthday Jerry Sloan.  Coach said that although Lil John won't be in town tonight, that he plans on having a huge Hodown celebration.

Much of the talk at shootaround centered on Jerry turning 66 and how he has adjusted to this younger team.  Deron Williams says that he has definately seen changes in Jerry since his rookie year.  Carlos Boozer said that "the great ones" are able to adapt and adjust to their teams over the years, and Jerry is a "great one".

Deron also talked about games like tonight having some added pressure.

Coach Sloan mentioned in the last game against the Clippers that LA came to play, while his team wasn't ready to "battle."

Jazz vs Clippers tonight, tip off at 7 pm, on 1320 KFAN and KJZZ 14.  Jazz pregame show with David Locke and Tom Nissalke begins at 6 pm.
