Final Score -  Lakers 120 Jazz 110
This game was never close.  It is very discouraging that the Lakers dictated everything that went on in this game.
It felt like the Jazz were at the Lakers whim at all times.
None of the Jazz stars played well.
Milsap was the best Jazz player tonight -- he was fantastic with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The Carlos Boozer questions are going to continue as he was 3 of 10 with 10 points and  5 rebounds.
The Lakers showed more of their offense in this game and the Jazz seemed helpless to stop it.
Deron stats are infalted by hitting three straight three's in the foul portion of the game.
Kobe was unstoppable he had 34, Odom and Gasol were a handful and Fischer was the nail in the coffin.
The Lakers were far shaper than they were in Game 1 and that is daunting.
They say a series doesn't start until the home team losses but this still feels as though quite a statement has been made in the opening two games of this series.
The good news is the Jazz scored but what I don't know is did the Jazz score because the Lakers didn't need to get a stop or did they score because they were capable of scoring.  I am not sure the Lakers couldn't have gotten stops when they wanted to.

No defense at all in the second quarter
Lakers scored on all but 7 possessions.  Jazz scored on all but 8 possessions.
Lakers are shooting 61%
Jazz were turnover free in the 2nd quarter and dominated the glass again.
Milsap has 13 points; AK and Okur have 8 points
Gasol 15; Odom 13; Bryant 12; Fischer 12

Lakers have completely changed the pace and this game at a very high pace
Lakers are 9 of 14 in the quarter.  Jazz have just 5 stops in the entire quarter
Deron just hit a three for his first points on the night.
Jazz tried to play zone and that was a joke.
Denzel Washington is in a Yankees hat across the way.

It is hard to live blog with the Laker girls dancing in my face.
Paul Milsap is a mad man.  He is everywhere.  He has 10 points and is keeping the Jazz in the game.
All the Harpring bashers have a year's worth of ammunition in this performance alone.
Jerry went with Ronnie Price for an extended run. 
Gasol is scoring in the post tonight. 
Deron and Boozer both scoreless still

9:34 2nd Quarter -- Lakers 35 Jazz 26
Boozer got his third foul on the first possession of the 2nd Quarter on an absurd over the back reach.

Bad shots by the Lakers bench.

Jazz lead 13-12
Jazz hit 5 of their first 6 and then missed 15 of their next 18 shots.  Ouch
A complete disaster.  Too much dribbling by the Jazz.. Everytime one of their guys puts the ball on the floor they get in trouble.
The Jazz committed 7 turnovers and most of them were on the dribble,  Lakers have 10 points off the turnovers
Lakers hit 12 of 18 shots.  Kobe has 10 points, odom has 8
Deron and Boozer are a combined 0 for 5 with 0 points.

2:55 1st Quarter -- Lakers 25 Jazz 15
Lakers went on a 13-0 run.
Jazz went 9 possessions without a point
The Jazz are getting in the paint and just getting suffocated
Boozer leaves with 2 fouls and 0 points and 0 rebounds.
The Jazz had a great flow but it is gone.  They are getting stuck on one side of the floor/
Jerry and Danny Crawford got into it big time.  Sloan ended up with a Tech, a well earned one I may add.  If any man every point at another man that many times in another setting police would be called.
Okur and Boozer with 2 fouls.

6:25 1st Quarter -- Lakers 15 Jazz 13
Insane pace to the game early.  
The Lakers are trying to get Kobe in early deep post ups out of transition.
Ak is very active.
Jazz scored on 5 of their first 6 possessions

Lakers are pushing the tempo and getting a lot of quick early looks.
Jack Black is sitting right across from me.
I wonder if you are a celeb and you get 5th row tickets do you decide not to come

Pre-Game
Kobe gets his MVP -- crowd goes nuts, Kobe said something but I couldn't understand it
His wife is wearing a tutu and his kids are dressed in all sorts of Kobe outfits.
Let me make this clear -- I detest the Lakers, I detest the city and I can't wait to win this game.

Keys to the Game 2 win

1. Contain Odom off the dribble.
2. Get Boozer active early mostly if he is guarded by Gasol.   If they are hiding Gasol on Okur then let Okur beat him up early.
3. Play smart and focused.  Game 1 the Jazz didn’t play an intelligent game.
