Good Call! Knight isn't special, but Hart was straight terrible. Thanks for stopping by!
It is the constant backup, point guard carousel that started in the Stockton era!

What does this mean for Ronnie Price?

Thank Heavens. Hart was horrible. At least Knight will be steady. I still hope Ronny Price is the primary backup but Knight will be a good stop-gap if their are any injuries because he has been a starter much of his career

Knight is 50 times the player Hart is. Plus it saves the Jazz close to 500K this year that could be money for CJ Miles.

Hart for Knight = Gasol for Brown

Re: Breaking News - Jazz Trade Jason Hart to Clippers for Brevin Knight.
Deron plays 36-38 mpg . . . that leaves only 10-12 mpg to fight over. I think Price wins that fight. (brevin can't shoot, is too short, old, gets injured all the time, etc)

What happens is that the jazz shave off about $0.5 million in roster this season, could this be somewhat linked to the CJ contract issue? (he signed for $3.75 mill per season)

Is that Gordy I hear on the radio? Is he back in Utah with the Jazz? I think he is a very good coach and very interesting to listen to and hope he's back.

Good move by the Jazz!

I can't help but feel that the Jazz would be making a HUGE mistake by letting C.J. get away. He's only 21, and he's probably the most talented player on the roster not named Deron Williams. And 4 million per year is pretty decent. They need to find a way to dump AK's contract, even if it means attaching draft picks to it.

Good deal for the Jazz. Hart never found a rythum or a groove in Sloan;s system, and Knight is eally a Jazz prototype guard who thinks pass first, and he's a decent defender.

Good trade, but that would be terrible if they used the money to sign CJ again. Better to keep it in reserve for getting a good defensive center in here.

Re: Breaking News - Jazz Trade Jason Hart to Clippers for Brevin Knight.
What's the advantage of trading one below average point guard who never plays for another below average point guard that will never play? Sounds like the jazz will save 500k but otherwise it's like trading Baltic Ave for Mediterranean ave in monopoly.
